Community Connections Welcomes Kyle Archibeque as Chief Finance and Personnel Officer

DURANGO, Colo. — Community Connections, Inc. is pleased to announce that Kyle Archibeque has joined the organization as Chief Finance and Personnel Officer, bringing more than 13 years of experience in finance, operations, and organizational leadership.

In his new role, Archibeque will oversee Community Connections’ financial operations and personnel functions, supporting the organization’s long-term financial health and the staff who carry out its mission across Southwest Colorado. He will be based out of the organization’s Cortez office.

Archibeque most recently led business services for Vertex Education and previously served as Executive Director of Finance for two school districts. His experience includes budgeting, payroll, grants compliance, audits, and team leadership and development.

“We are excited to welcome Kyle to Community Connections,” said Tara Kiene, President & CEO. “His depth of financial experience, combined with his thoughtful approach to leadership and team development, will be a tremendous asset as our organization continues to grow and evolve.”

Before beginning his career in finance, Archibeque served as an Infantry Paratrooper in the U.S. Army, an experience he credits with shaping his approach to leadership, discipline, and teamwork.

“I’m honored to join Community Connections and support the important work this organization does in our community,” Archibeque said. “I look forward to helping strengthen both the financial health of the organization and the people who make its work possible.”

Outside of work, Archibeque enjoys spending time with his wife and children, tending to his garden and mini farm, and fishing.
