Festival of Trees

The money raised at the Festival of Trees helps kids and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities get access to services and maximize their independence, empowerment, and employment opportunities to better our community.

This event is possible because of the ongoing support of the D&SNGRR, and Kroegers Ace Hardware, and the businesses and individuals decorating these trees, and YOU!

Community Connections, Inc. is the only organization in our area providing 24/7 comprehensive services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Our 2016 Trees!

The WINNERS of the Trees have been announced.  Thank to everyone who donated, and tried to win a tree*, during the 13th Annual Festival of Trees!  We hope to see everyone at the 14th Annual Festival of Trees, so be on the lookout for those dates!

*Actual trees will not be given away, only ornaments, decorations and anything under the tree will be won.
**All donations benefit Community Connections, a Southwest Colorado nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities for children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to lead healthy and fulfilling lives within our community).

Community Connections lights up the D&SNGRR Museum every year with the #FestivalOfTrees! Community Connections creates opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead healthy and fulfilling lives within our community. Julie Dreyfuss, President/CEO, discusses how local businesses and individuals come together to create one-of-a kind trees you can win by entering a drawing at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad museum the first two weekends in December.
