Employment Process

Community Connections uses an online process for applying for positions. Paper applications are only available from Human Resources as an ADA accommodation request.

Applicants considered for employment will have a background review with Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and a third party investigative provider.  Additionally, applicants who will provide direct services to an adult must have a background review with Colorado's Adult Protective Services (CAPS), Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) and Office of Inspector General (OIG). Applicants who will drive for business must provide a current Motor Vehicle Record.  Adverse background checks may bar consideration for employment or continued employment.

A Summary of Your Rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act provides information of your rights if an applicant is denied employment based on a criminal background check provided by a third party.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination in employment because of race, color, religion, or national origin. Public Law 90-202 prohibits discrimination because of age. The laws of some states prohibit some or all of the above mentioned types of discrimination.

Community Connections, Inc. is a drug free company.  We conduct random drug and alcohol testing, probable cause/reasonable suspicion, and testing when injured while at work.
