BECOME A HOST HOME PROVIDER

How do I start?

Host Home Providers are independent business people.  They contract with CCI to provide services to individuals who need support in order to have fulfilling lives in their communities.  If you feel a desire to do something that will change lives for the better, we want to talk to you! Learn about the opportunity below, and about CCI by reading the other pages on our website, to see if we are good fit.

What's involved?

Community Connections is seeking self-starters to open their homes to one or more persons with developmental disabilities in Southwest Colorado. Our host home providers support our clients through person-centered outcomes, assisting them to achieve their life goals and dreams. The work is highly rewarding and stimulating.

Host Home Providers open their home and assist people with daily support needs. These needs can vary depending on the person served, but often involve the following:

Having Fun!
Helping prepare meals
Hygiene
Social skills
Financial management
Arranging community integration
Emotional support
Decision making
